Whether it’s your first time hiring a video production team or your tenth, understanding what goes into a corporate shoot can make the experience smoother and more productive for everyone involved. At CinemaCake, we believe in transparency and preparation—so here’s a behind-the-scenes look at what clients can expect on shoot day.
Pre-Production: Planning for Success
Before the cameras roll, our team works with you to align on goals, schedule, and creative direction. We’ll confirm shot lists, interview questions, and locations in advance to make sure the production runs efficiently and meets your needs.
Arrival & Setup
On the day of the shoot, our crew typically arrives 60–90 minutes before filming begins. This allows us to:
-
Load in gear
-
Scout the final setup location
-
Test lighting and audio
-
Prepare interview framing
We aim to be as discreet and professional as possible, especially in working offices or sensitive environments.
Interview Process
If your project includes interviews, we’ll guide your team through the process with ease. No need to memorize scripts—we use conversational prompts and teleprompters when needed to help everyone feel confident on camera.
Expect each interview to take 30–60 minutes depending on depth and number of responses. We also gather relevant b-roll during breaks or transitions to enrich the final video.
Wrap & Breakdown
After the final shots are captured, our team packs up quickly and leaves the space exactly as we found it. From there, post-production begins—where the story comes to life with editing, music, graphics, and review rounds to ensure everything aligns with your brand and goals.
What You Can Do to Prepare
-
Let your team know about the shoot ahead of time
-
Choose a quiet, clutter-free filming space
-
Wear brand-appropriate or neutral clothing
-
Encourage participants to relax and speak naturally
Every production is a collaboration. When our clients are prepared and informed, we’re able to capture your best story—beautifully.
