Sean joined CinemaCake after nearly a decade of success in live broadcasting sports, primarily professional equestrian events such as the Devon Horse Show. His pivot from the broadcasting to corporate work was driven by a desire to work in more creative, diverse environments. Much of Sean’s work sits at the center point between shoot-day and final delivery. Every camera, microphone, and cable passes through him prior to a CinemaCake shoot. Each file that returns is securely handled and organized by Sean using systems that keep this running from set-up, to the edit, to final delivery.

As Digital Imaging Technician, Sean is responsible for every frame CinemaCake captures. He maintains the in-house storage that holds decades of client work, as well as all gear for every shoot. His passion for technical challenges go far beyond adjusting camera settings. He has his hand in all technical aspects of the studio and is responsible for troubleshooting, and upgrading all systems and processes. Sean is also a licensed drone pilot and a cinematographer. His passion for learning is ever-expanding. He is currently working on systems for growing CinemaCake’s marketing — so the same person protecting your footage is also the one making sure people see it.

Outside of CinemaCake, you can find Sean at his home in University City where he lives with his girlfriend, their Dog Rosie and Cat Wayne. He likes history, documentaries, FPV Drones, hiking, and time with friends. Sean has read the Lord of the Rings trilogy three times, and considers himself a Tolkien aficionado – feel free to test his knowledge if you ever run into him on set!
